Among the items Jefferson County commissioners will address when they meet today will
be the removal of the Brooks Road Overpass on I-10. The removal of the overpass is part of
Tex-Dot’s plan for the next phase of widening I-10 from Walden Road to Highway 365.
During a recent public hearing, some residents voiced their opposition of the removal of the
overpass. County commissioners meet at 1:30 this afternoon.
