An alert roofing contractor and his crew help lead to the arrest of two burglary suspects
yesterday morning in Jefferson County. A man and woman were seen removing items from
a storage building off of Tram Road in Northwest Forest. The contractor confronted them
and made them leave and then called 911. Deputies located t he suspect’s vehicle, that was
hooked to a trailer, backed to another residence. It turned out the trailer had just been stolen.
35-year old Kristopher Street, of Lumberton, is charged with possession of controlled substance,
theft and burglary. He also has an outstanding traffic warrant out of Nederland. 35-year old
Elizabeth Sharp, of Lumberton, is charged with burglary. She also had a theft by check warrant
out of Lumberton.
