A Hardin County jury has sentenced the former treasurer of the Lumberton Band Booster Club
to four years in prison. Earlier this week, Helen Cox pleaded guilty to stealing more than $70,000
from the booster club and using it for gambling at casinos and for purchasing items for personal
use. She could of received up to 20 years.
