The DPS has released the name of a woman that was struck and killed by a vehicle early
yesterday morning in Orange County. 56-year old Megan Gill Freeman, of Vidor, was
walking on FM 105, near West Circle in Vidor, when she stepped in front of an oncoming
pickup. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
