Beaumont firefighters were called to the Hamlet Apartments in the 3900 block of Crow Road
just before 9:00 this morning. The fire was contained to an upstairs unit at the complex. There
were no injuries reported, however a family pet dog died in the fire. The cause has not been
reported.
