Baytown Man Faces Up To Life In Federal Prison

A Baytown man has pleaded guilty to trafficking drugs through southeast Texas. 42-year

old Jose Quiroga served as a narcotics and bulk currency courier for a drug trafficking

organization. The organization was responsible for hauling cocaine from Houston to

Beaumont and into Louisiana and Mississippi. Quiorga was stopped in Beaumont in June of

last year. He was in  possession of cocaine and more than $50,000 cash. Quiorga faces up

to life in prison.
