One person is in custody and the search the a second is underway following an auto
burglary yesterday morning. A Beaumont police officer was patrolling in the 2300
block of North 21st just before 4:00 this morning when he saw two males
breaking into a pickup. The officer was able to catch one of the suspects while the other
got away. 17-year old Jakarious Wilson is jailed charged with burglary of a vehicle. The
second suspect was wearing red shorts and may go by the name of Trey. Anyone with
