It’s Friday, time to take a look at our weekly gas prices. In the Beaumont/Port Arthur area the
average price for a gallon of gas is $2.61, which is down two pennies from last week. This
morning’s statewide average is down three to cents $2.64 a gallon. The national average
dropped a penny to $2.85. These prices are compiled daily by Triple A Texas.
