The DPS reports a 6-year old Woodville boy died in a two vehicle wreck in Hardin County.
The child was in a car driven by his father, 37-year old Jason Abernathy of Woodville.
According to the traffic report, Abernathy was traveling south on Highway 69 near Village
Mills, when he crossed into the northbound lane and struck an oncoming 18-wheeler. The
child was pronounced dead at the scene. Abernathy was transported to the hospital. The
driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to the hospital for observation.
