A Beaumont police officer escaped injury Saturday morning after he patrol unit was struck by
a car from behind near 11th & Hollywood. The driver of the car, 51-year old Vickie
Tubbleville, of Nederland, was transported to the hospital for treatment. Once released from
the hospital, she was taken to jail and charged with DUI.
