The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for y our help in locating a vehicle that was
at the scene of a robbery and an attempted robbery over the past two weeks. On July 19th, two
males attempted robbed the Crossroads Convenience store in the 2500 block of Twin City
Highway in Nederland. The clerk had already locked the doors for the evening. On July 25th,
Dan’s Food Mart in the 3800 block of Twin City Highway was robbed at gunpoint. In both
incidents, an older model gold Pontiac Grand Am was seen driving through the parking lot
and surrounding area. The vehicle has body damage. The trunk won’t close and it only has one
hubcap. Anyone with any information can call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office or Southeast
