A Beaumont man that shot and killed his neighbor’s dog has been sentenced to a year in
state jail. Judge John Stevens sentenced 55-year old Jimmy Gosch, three weeks after convicting
him for animal cruelty. Gosch shot and killed the dog after the dog came into his yard. Gosch
claimed he felt threatened by the dog The court disagreed and convicted and sentenced him.
