Port Arthur has a new chief of police. During a meeting last night, city council hired Tim
Duriso to replace Patrick Melvin, who resigned in May. Duriso, who currently serves as
the agent in charge for the DEA, will begin on September 3rd. Duriso has over 30 years of
law enforcement experience.
