The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning. The body of a 39-year old
woman was recovered this morning from Village Creek, near the Highway 327 bridge in
Silsbee. Her name has not been released. An autopsy has been ordered by Justice of the Peace
Charles Brewer.
