The BISD Board of Managers will meet this evening and the renaming of high school
football stadium is on the agenda. The stadium, on I-10, is currently named the Carol A
“Butch” Thomas Educational Support Center, which is named after the district’s former
superintendent. One possible name to be voted on is Beaumont Independent School
District Memorial Stadium.
