Gas prices are slightly down from last week. In the Beaumont/Port Arthur area, this morning’s
average price for a gallon dropped a penny to $2.60 a gallon. The statewide average is down
a penny to $2.61. This morning’s national average for a gallon of gas is $2.83, that is down
