A store clerk remains in critical condition after he was shot during a Saturday night robbery
in Beaumont. Three men robbed the Valero in the 1400 block of I-10. As they were fleeing
the store, one of the suspects shot the clerk in the abdomen. The gunshot victim was transported
to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Several witnesses left the scene before police arrived. Anyone
