The DPS continues to investigate yesterday morning’s fatality on I-10 in Jefferson County
that closed the westbound lanes of traffic for several hours. 55-year old Ronald Hooker, of
Pearland, was traveling west on the interstate when he hit the back of an 18-wheeler. Hooker
was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt
