Beaumont police investigating two separate shootings. The first one occurred just before 8:00
last night near Goliad and Cartwright. The victim was shot in the buttocks and was transported
to the hospital. He is not cooperating with police. The second shooting took place in the 3700
block of East Lucas. The victim was involved in an altercation with a man and a woman. The
male suspect fired two shots from a vehicle striking the victim in the thigh. The vehicle left
the scene. As of news time, no arrests had been made
