Hardin County: Arrests Made In Dog Fighting Investigation

On September 2, 2018, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into a reported dog fighting ring in Hardin County. Over the course of several weeks, our agency has been gathering evidence and eye witness accounts of criminal activity related to animal cruelty and dog fighting.

This morning, deputies began arresting individuals involved in this crime. Three persons have been arrested and warrants have been issued for three additional suspects, bringing the total to six suspects so far. This is only the first round of arrests and we anticipate more arrests to follow over the next week or so.

Those arrested today are:

JACOBY BASS – 22 YEARS OLD FROM SILSBEE

ABDUL RAMON BLUITT – 41 YEARS OLD FROM BEAUMONT

HENRY BARNES III – 20 YEARS OLD FROM KOUNTZE
