Members of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team arrested four men yesterday
after approximately $30,000 worth of drugs were seized from a home in Brookeland.
Powdered cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana were found on the
property. A stolen Polaris Ranger was also located. 40-year old Cedric Demond Hunt,
43-year old Charles Prentice Howard Jr., 37-year old Carl Edward Johnson, and 62-year
old Weldon Ray Brooks were all transported to the Jasper County jail.
