An arrest has been made in connection with a Port Arthur fire. Firefighters responded to the 3000
block of 59th Street yesterday morning and found a detached garage on fire. They were able
to distinguish the fire before it spread to the home. There were no injuries. An arrest was made
yesterday afternoon and the suspect was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional
Facility.
