State Representative Joe Deshotel has announced that beginning on December 11th, the Port
Arthur Driver’s License Office will have their office back to normal business hours. The office
hours will be Monday – Friday from 8:00-5:00, with a lunch break from 1:00-2:00. With the
office opening full time, this will help alleviate the overload at the Beaumont and surrounding
DPS offices. The Port Arthur office was open on limited days and times since February due to
staffing shortages.
