The DPS reports a 55-year old Beaumont man was killed in a head-on collision yesterday
afternoon on Highway 326 in Hardin County. Wesley Coe was a passenger in a southbound
pickup that was struck by a pickup that crossed into their lane of traffic. The driver of the
southbound pickup, 69-year old Gary Coe of Beaumont and another passenger 62-year old Rick Coe, of
Beaumont. were both listed in serious condition. The driver of the pickup
that crossed the center line, 50-year old Michael McCaleb remains hospitalized.
