Two men were arrested by Jefferson County deputies this week following a burglary on
West Clubb Road, in which several guns along with other property were stolen. After
getting information about the suspects, 27-year old Kelby Daigle of Hamshire, was arrested
at the Chambers County Courthouse while appearing for a separate case. 25-year old Tommy
Ford, of Winnie, was found hiding in a truck. He was arrested for an outstanding warrant from
Jefferson County. A search of the truck netted one of the stolen guns. Daigle was charged with
burglary. His bond was set at $250,000. Ford was arrested for the outstanding warrant. He has
additional charges pending.
