A Dequincy doctor is in the Calcasieu Parish Jail. Dr. Eric Jacobs is accused of calling a
health care facility Monday and telling them someone was outside the door to shoot them.
Police and deputies cleared the facility only to find out minutes later that Jacobs made the
call, saying he did so as a joke. He is charged with terrorizing.
