A Beaumont man is jailed on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated
kidnapping, and aggravated sexual assault. 48-year Morris Joseph Broussard is accused of
sexually assaulting a woman multiple times yesterday morning in the 2500 block of Milam.
She was also held against her will and shot in the hand. Broussard was arrested at the scene
and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
