Let the bidding begin. The three day online auction for the AT&T building on Main Street in
Beaumont begins today and will continue through Wednesday. Last month, the Beaumont city
council voted 6-1 to have City Manager Kyle Hayes take part in the auction. Councilman Mike
Getz was the only no vote. The council would like to purchase the building for economic
development along the riverfront.
