Three are in custody charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, unauthorized use of a
motor vehicle, auto burglary and evading. Beaumont police responded to suspicious activity in
the parking lot of the Comfort Suites on Walden Road this morning. A male juvenile was
arrested as he was exiting the window of a vehicle. Other suspects exited a stolen car and fled
on foot. One was arrested near the Petro Truck Stop and the third was tracked to the 3200 block
of I-10 by a K-9 Officer. The juvenile was transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention
Center. 18-year old Marcus Mclemore and 18-year old ZacharyMcConico were both taken to
the Jefferson County Jail. All three are from Houston. Beaumont police are urging the public
not leave guns in your vehicle. Also, make sure your vehicles are locked.
