Beaumont police have issued an arrest warrant on a man for a Sunday morning shooting.
44-year old Elkin George Savoy III is wanted for shooting a 33-year old man in the face
in the 4800 block of Park Street. The victim was transported to a Houston hospital for
treatment and was listed in critical condition. Savoy is charged with aggravated assault
with a deadly weapon. His bond is set at $100,000. Anyone with any information on the
whereabouts of 44-year old Elkin Savoy is asked to call Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers
