Gas prices continue to move up. This morning’s average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur
area is $2.41 a gallon, which is up seven cents from last week. The statewide average jumped
seven cents to $2.47 a gallon. This morning’s national average for a gallon of gas is $2.69,
