The driver on an 18-wheeler escaped injury yesterday afternoon after his rig was struck by
a train in Rose City. The DPS reports the trailer of the truck became lodged on the tracks
at the intersection of Old Highway 90 and Mockingbird Lane. The drive was able to get
out of the truck before it was struck by the train.
