In a statement on its Facebook page, the Silsbee School District has experienced water issues
at two of its campuses. Although there is no known health threats, the district has shutdown the
drinking water capabilities at Silsbee High School and Edwards-Johnson Memorial Middle
School. Bottled water has been brought to both campuses. The district is working with the
City of Silsbee and the Hardin County Health Inspector to pinpoint the issue.
