The Jefferson County grand jury has returned indictments against three individuals involved in
the trafficking of a 12-year old female. This past January, Beaumont police officers responded
to the intersection of Walden Road and Fannett Road in reference to a 12-year old runaway.
Officers received creditable information that led them to believe the child was currently being
trafficked. Detectives located an online ad that offered sex with the child in exchange for money.
Detectives set up a sting and were able to recovered the child at a motel. 25-year old Toni Davis
and 23-year old Arthur Gilder, both of Beaumont, were arrested after bringing the child to the
motel. A further investigation led officers to 24-year old Andre Tucker, who had engaged in
sexual acts with the child in exchange for money. All three are facing decades in prison if they
are convicted.
