Silsbee police have released the name of a man that was shot and killed Monday afternoon.
39-year old Marcus Demond Elam was shot on South 1st Street. He was transported to the
hospital where he died. 63-year old you Reginald Kyles, of Silsbee, remains jailed under a
$750,000 bond. He is charged with murder.
