A traffic stop in Orange yesterday ended with a man going to jail on drug charges. Following
the stop in the 1000 block of 4th St, the driver 42-year old Joseph Allen Guidry, fled on foot.
He was found a short time later hiding under a porch. As the officer approached Guidry, he
reached for a large hunting knife and was restrained. He was also in possession of what is
to believed methamphetamine. Guidry was transported to the Orange County jail.
