An 8-year old girl is listed in serious but stable condition after she was struck by a car
in Nederland yesterday afternoon. Nederland police report the girl stepped out between two
parked cars in the 400 block of 21st Street when she was hit. She was initially transported
to the Medical Center of Southeast Texas, then airlifted to a Houston hospital.
