A Port Arthur man is jailed following the execution of a search warrant at the Louis Manor
Apartments this morning. The Port Arthur Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, assisted
by SWAT found approximately 185 grams of ecstasy and an unknown amount of marijuana
inside an apartment at the complex. There was a child under the age of one in the apartment.
Some additional drugs were found in the child’s dresser drawer and concealed in a gum
container on the floor. 36-year old Phillip Wayne Washington, of Port Arthur, was transported
to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. He is facing multiple charges
