A woman is jailed and another hospitalized following a stabbing in Beaumont last night. The
victim told police the suspect, who she had dated, held her down in the 1400 block of Roberts
and stabbed her in the back. The suspect was located near Washington and Avenue A.On the
way to jail, the suspect unbuckled her seatbelt and begin banging her head against the cage in
the patrol unit. The officer stopped and she continued to resist. The suspect was transported to
the hospital for treatment. She was then taken to jail and charged with aggravated assault with
a knife and resisting.
