The DPS has released the name of a Vidor man that died in a one vehicle wreck yesterday
morning. 25-year old Jonathan Sirmons was traveling at a high rate of speed on FM 1135 when
he lost control of his car and struck a culvert. The impact caused the car to flip over and land
on I-10. Sirmons was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, a 23-year old Vidor woman,
was listed in serious condition.
