Gas prices continue to drop. This morning Triple A Texas average in the Beaumont/Port
Arthur area is $2.39, whichis down a nickel from last week. The statewide average dropped
two cents to $2.43. The national average for a gallon of gas is down seven cents from last
week to $2.70.
