A capital murder trial in Jefferson County moves into its second week. Testimony will resume
this afternoon in the trial of Brandon Coleman, who is charged with the June 2017 death of
54-year old Catherine Dungan. She had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted before being
murdered. Her body was found at Collier’s Park Ferry on Pine Street in Beaumont. The trial
is taking place in Judge Raquel West’s courtroom.
