A Baytown man is in the Chambers County jail for three counts of intoxication manslaughter
and two counts of intoxication assault following Sunday night’s deadly boat crash near the
Hugo Park Road boat ramp, near the Old and Lost River. 23-year old Jacob Vernon Breaux is
being held on bonds totaling $200,000. The fatality victims have been identified as 36-year old
William Robert Bowles of Baytown, 48-year old Laura Kay Grant of Mont Belvieu, and 29-year
old Zachary Jackson Miles of Beach City. Two others remain in critical condition.
