A $500,000 bond has been set on a man accused of shooting a Hardin County deputy with
a crossbow. 38-year old Taylor Shackelford is charged with aggravated assault on a public
servant. Deputy Tom Lee and a mental case worker were called to a home on Old Sour
Lake Road by family members. Lee, who was struck above the left eye by the arrow, shot
Shackelford, who released from the hospital on Monday. Shackleford remains is jailed in
Hardin County. Deputy Lee was released from the hospital on Friday.
