Three members of a Beaumont family have pleaded guilty to federal charges of tax evasion
and laundering of gambling proceeds. 69-year old Larry Tillery pleaded guilty to engaging in
monetary transaction in property derived from specified unlawful activity and tax evasion.
62-year old Judy Tillery pleaded guilty to structuring of financial transactions to evade reporting
requirements and 46-year old Brian Tillery guiltyto engaging in monetary transaction in
property derived from specified unlawful activity. Larry Tillery faces up to 10 years in federal
prison. Judy and Brian Tillery each face up to five years. Larry Tillery is also facing a charge
in Louisiana for writing a bad check at a Lake Charles casino.
