A Saratoga man is hospitalized after he was shot in the jaw Monday night during a dispute
near Sour Lake. The Hardin County Sheriff’s reports 35-year old Christopher Cassity was
airlifted to the hospital. He is expected to recover. A 36-year old Groves man has been arrested
and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies believe alcohol played a
significant role in an argument that led to the shooting.
