When the Beaumont city council meets tomorrow they will consider reaching an agreement
with Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas to bring the event to Beaumont. The annual event has been
held in Port Arthur for more than 20 years. Earlier this year, the city of Port Neches voted against
Mardi Gras events coming to the Port Neches Park.
