A cemetery in Newton County has been vandalized. The sheriff’s office received a call from
the Farrsville Community, northwest of Newton, and found several gravestone markers that
had been smashed. This is the second time in less than a week a rural cemetery has been
vandalized in Newton County. Sheriff Billy Rowles is asking anyone with any information to
contact the sheriff’s office.
