Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated sexual assault. The victim told police she had
a flat tire in the 2000 block of 11th Street yesterday morning when the suspect, a black male in a
dark colored SUV stopped to assist. She left with the suspect to get a tool to fix the flat. The
suspect drove the victim to the back parking lot of the Beaumont Club where he choked her
and sexually assaulted her. He pulled a gun and struck her before forcing her out of the vehicle.
