Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated robbery. The victim told police she was placing
her child into a friend’s vehicle last night at the Settler’s Cove Apartments in the 4000 block of
Treadway when she was approached by a man with a gun.The suspect ordered her onto the
ground. She dropped her wallet trying to flee. The robber picked up her wallet and left ran into
the apartment complex. The victim was not hurt.
